Amalgam LLC develops Veterans Cemetery location service for Midland County, MI
May 2011 - Amalgam LLC announced today that it has completed development of the Veterans Cemetery location service for Midland County's Fetch application. The Veterans location service enables users to search for a Veteran by military branch, service or name. Results are displayed on the interactive map by cemetery burial location, which was captured by the Midland County GIS department.

The Veterans location service was developed as a new search component in Midland County's existing Fetch application. Midland County is planning on making the service available to the public in early July 2011.

Internal users have free access (no fee) to the Fetch Web App. The "pay to use" Fetch Web App was developed to offset GIS program costs in an increasingly restrictive budget environment.
